At Shwe La Min Hospital, as a mark of national mourning for the earthquake that occurred on 28 February 2025, the national flag was flown at half-mast, and the staff observed a one-minute silence to pay their respects.
In the hospital’s shrine room, monks were invited to chant protective prayers (Paritta) for safety from disasters, and acts of loving-kindness and merit-sharing were also carried out.
